The experienced Underwriter – DE must be able to work with minimal supervision and/or direction and work in a flexible and production oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing, analyzing, approving, and underwriting FHA, Conforming and Jumbo loan applications
• Evaluating credit reports, appraisals, validating income documentation, and title review
• Ensuring loan applicants meet investor guidelines

Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience in underwriting - at least 2 years as a DE
• Must have thorough understanding of FNMA, FMLC, FHA & VA guidelines
• Must be proficient with DO and LP
• Must have superior internal and external customer service skills
• Ability to work in a flexible and production oriented environment
• Excellent communication skills (oral & written)
• MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint

Compensation:
This is a salaried position, commensurate with experience.
